Where should I go in South Crete?

Southern Crete is the other face of Crete. It is not a touristic place compared to the north side and there you will really experience the real and authentic Crete. The sea water is clean and crystal clear, while the waves are absent in the summer months as the northerly winds do not manage to pass through the high mountains. It is worth visiting Sfakia and the beautiful picturesque Loutro, Sougia, Paleochora, Elafonissi and Kedrodasos.
