Sailing Sfakia Hidden paradise

As soon as you are in Sfakia you will immediately understand that you have discovered the real Crete. There the attractions are not buildings and hotels but the works of nature. Beautiful beaches and clear blue waters, towering mountains that start from the sea but also a real atmosphere with the scenery set naturally. The most beautiful coastline of Crete is located there and it is no coincidence that it is only connected by sea. It is both the traveler’s gift and reward to be there, as life flows more beautifully and quietly when motor vehicles are absent. Our walk starts in the morning and a first dip in the Fresh Waters will prepare us in the best way for what will follow. With the sails open, we will then open into the southern Cretan sea and after cooling off from the sea breeze, we dive again into the mysterious waters inside the caves at Marmara, which is our next destination. Beautiful colors in a natural relief, you want to dive again and again in the blue-green waters but also to explore every cave in the area. A tasty snack will give you energy to raise the sails again for our next
destination which is the bay of Loutro, one of the most famous places in southern Crete and probably the best place you can visit by boat. It is no coincidence that you can only get there by boat, as there are no roads and this natural bay holds in its arms the best color that exists in the sea. But the enjoyment does not stop here and shortly before we tie up in the afternoon at the port of Sfakia, we will take the last dip at the deserted beach next to Iligkas.
