What should I do in Chania?

Chania offers a huge variety in what a visitor will do. They offer endless beautiful beaches, organized and not, with the most beautiful being in the south in Sfakia, while on the north side they are more secular and organized. It is worth a crossing of the Samaria gorge and to be combined with a stay in southern Crete, as it is the area worth visiting. If you like walking, take a hike on the coastal path from Sfakia to Loutro and swim in the deserted beaches of the area. A boat ride in the area is also well worth it. Beautiful but very crowded are Falasarna and Balos, while one or two days in the city of Chania and a visit to the Venetian port are enough. The beauty of Chania lies inland with fantastic mountain routes and coastal paths in the south.
