Ideal season for boat holidays

The ideal period for boat holidays in South Crete is from mid-May until the end of October when the weather remains very good. The temperature during the day reaches up to 28 degrees in the spring season, while from June to September the average temperature reaches 32 degrees during the day. From the middle of September the temperature goes a little lower and until the end of October its average value reaches 26-27 degrees. Rain is rare as are strong winds as the area is only affected by westerly winds which blow a few times during the summer. We recommend the beginning of June, but in general the area is recommended throughout the summer season as there are not many accommodations on the coastal part and it is never crowded with people. Also, the fact that there is no road connection on the coastal part makes it unique as a destination.
